Chief Food Officers – Home Of the Real CFO’s

Welcome to Chief Food Officers.  This site was inspired by a friend of mine, who like me, now does the lion’s share of the cooking in his home. Moving to Denver (West for him, East for me) after years on the coasts and taking new jobs while our wives continued in their careers combined with the birth of our children lead to pretty significant changes in our lives. Discussing this one night he made a quip that he’d be changing his job title to Chief Food Officer.

That comment and the name name struck a chord with me, as a great idea for a content site.  As a result I decided to build CFO’s with the intent of sharing and tracking our experiences in the kitchen. I wanted a place to pool what has been learned and my friends have taught me. Join us as we learn to be a better cooks, explore different foods, methods, and ingredients. We will talk about the things we like, and the things that don’t work.  Track the recipes we enjoyed and the tools we use in the Chief Food Officers kitchen. I promise to rope in people outside of my social group as the site grows to keep our experiences diverse and relevant.
